Strings Attached

No bigger than your thumb, this tiny caveman is one of the palm-sized puppets we have made in collaboration with About Face and the Fetch Theatre companies this Spring. The caveman's head has been wet felted into shape and his body handstitched. A device made from wire and linen string controls his arms and hunting stick.  The puppets will be used in a short tale about Neolithic Herefordshire, one of a collection being told in a production called, 'We Are All Stories'. The first public performances of these stories will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 29th May and Tuesday 30th May at the historic Black & White House in High Town Hereford, 11am - 3pm. There is no need to book, simply turn up and be enthralled by five stories, magically told through puppetry.
